Cara Tullett BEd MA UKCP MBACP

Welcome! I am Cara and I am an Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. In my private practice, I work with children, young people, parents and adults in a clinic in Brentwood, Essex. I am also a therapist in various schools across Essex and London.

I work in an integrative way, where I access a wide variety of approaches that best suit each client. I hold carefully in mind each client's uniqueness and individuality, focusing on the methods and styles that work best for that person. This may be through talking, but it might also be through a variety of other methods of creativity such as play, art, drama, sand tray work, or puppets. Some young clients may find it hard to express their feelings verbally, and therefore these alternative methods help them to explore their world in a way that they are most comfortable with.

I also offer parenting sessions where we think through in-depth what might be going on for you and your child. This will also offer you a space to reflect on your parenting style and your own experience of being parented.

I work in a relational way, and I strongly believe that the relationship is paramount to successful therapy and therefore I work very hard to create a place where you or your child feels warmly welcomed and accepted for who they are.
