About Me

I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and before settling in Paris I have lived in Italy, France, Jersey (GB) and Spain.
My experience of living abroad, together with my multicultural marriage and my multilingual family make me particularly sensitive to the issues experienced by those not living in their country of origin or those that form part of a mixed couple. I practice in English, French, Russian and Italian.

I studied Integrative Psychotherapy in Jersey (GB). Until mid 2015 my practice was based in Madrid. I am accredited by the European Association of Integrative Psychotherapy, the FF2P (Fédération Française de Psychothérapie et Psychanalyse) and by the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy). I also hold the European Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy and the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP).

I am currently doing my doctorate (DPSYCH) at Middlesex University, London. My research interests are evolving around clinical work with displaced individuals and practicing relational therapy online.

As a writer, I wrote scenarios between 2006 and 2012 for television and cinema; I always felt deeply interested in people’s stories. We all have a story of our life. But did we ever tell it? And once we try, does it make sense? Are some chunks missing from it? To construct the narrative of our life is to find a meaning to it. To put our memory, our emotional experience and autobiographical facts into an outline helps to understand who we really are.
It doesn’t need to be a happy story, it doesn’t even need to be an accurate one, but it does need to sound and feel true to yourself. And, as Erving Polster puts it, everybody’s life is worth a novel.
