Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with children who experience anxiety in a way that views as anxiety as a problem that can be changed by a whole family approach
I have worked with families and adults who have neurodiverse conditions. It is helpful for families to explore this as a whole family approach which draws upon social norms and approaches to living in the dominant world of neuro typical approaches.
I enjoy working with couples in relation to the problems within the couple relationship within a family context. I have also thirty years experience of working with parenting issues and the child/parent relationship.
I enjoy working with all types of people and personal circumstances. I have the belief that change happens through relationships.
I have worked with adults and children who have experienced trauma. I believe helping them work through this as a family is helpful in healing and recovery.
