Are you presently facing challenges in your personal or work life or dealing with the 'givens' of life or with issues you have no control over such as loss, or health or any crisis, however big or small? Are you also looking to work with a therapist who will respect, understand and validate you and your unique circumstances and values, and who will provide an environment of trust and safety, with whom you can work collaboratively and explore your way of 'being in the world' with whom you will be helped to gain and develop your inner resources and resilience, and discuss different perspectives, all of which may lead to self-empowerment and different choices you could make to improve your quality of life.
If so, I look forward to hearing from you but first you may wish to know more about me. Furthermore I have trained in the systemic model for couples and families. Having trained in several modalities - humanistic, psychoanalytic, existential and Jungian my way of working is integrative and draws from this background to meet the needs of the individual client and clients (for couples work)
That said, the quality of the therapeutic relationship is paramount and it is vital that the provision reflects your pace in a climate of authenticity, trust and acceptance.
Life can be like a dance - the music can be fast or slow, loud or soft, soothing or disturbing, sad or joyous; how we may dance to the music is unique to us and may depend on what is being evoked and on our mood, perspective, disposition and life experiences.
In addition to psychotherapy, my particular interests include life coaching, dream work, and working with people from the arts (drama, music, writing, painting) and sports, especially Formula 1.
Previously, I developed tailor made language programmes and lectured and taught (Italian to British nationals) and (English to international students) as well as business management.
I am registered with most health insurers.
