My approach is integrative, which draws on psychodynamic, humanistic and existential theory. I work in a trauma-informed way and with the whole person and personal embodiment. I approach my work in holistic, curious and human way.
I am an integrative relational psychotherapist and counsellor, with experience of working in a variety of settings, including at the national charity 'Mind', at a university counselling service and in private practice. I currently work in the NHS (experienced in primary and secondary care) alongside my private practice.
I offer both open-ended and time-limited therapy to individual adults and am currently offering remote (online or telephone) therapy, which means that I can work with you regardless of your location.
I work relationally and aim to offer a warm and down to earth therapeutic space for you to bring what you need. As an integrative therapist I draw on a range of approaches in seeking to understand you and your experiences and work to facilitate movement from where you are, to the place you want to be.
Therapy can be tough and I am keenly aware of the depth of process that can emerge, as the most painful experiences are worked through. I aim to be alongside you in therapy and treat you with kindness and respect.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
