My Approach

I am a relational psychotherapist who works intuitively, adapting to your unique needs. My approach is trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on compassion and mindfulness. If beneficial, we can incorporate somatic work, exploring how emotions manifest in the body. Together, we will also recognize and build upon your strengths, fostering a more balanced and empowered sense of self.

About Me

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy, blending ancient contemplative wisdom with modern psychotherapeutic approaches. Additionally, I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Holistic Coaching and Relational Mindfulness. My work is always trauma-informed.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Core Process Psychotherapy provides a gentle yet effective approach to supporting clients who have experienced abuse. By fostering a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment, I help clients explore the impacts of abuse at their own pace, respecting their boundaries and needs. Mindfulness is central to this work, enabling clients to develop greater awareness of their emotional and physical responses, which can often be deeply affected by abuse. This approach supports clients in reconnecting with their inherent health and resilience, processing trauma, and reclaiming a sense of safety and agency in their lives. My experience with clients who have faced abuse has taught me the importance of attunement, patience, and deep listening in creating a space where healing can unfold
I will support clients experiencing anxiety by combining mindfulness with deep exploration of underlying patterns. By cultivating present-moment awareness, my clients can identify triggers, regulate emotions, and foster a sense of safety. Mindfulness helps reduce reactivity, while exploring deeper causes promotes lasting change. This approach empowers clients to meet anxiety with curiosity and compassion, encouraging resilience and growth.
I offers a compassionate and holistic approach to supporting clients with a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and mood dysregulation. By combining mindfulness with a focus on the mind-body connection, I help clients explore how their mental health difficulties manifest emotionally, physically, and relationally. This process allows for greater self-awareness and the identification of patterns that may contribute to suffering. With sensitivity and attunement, I support clients in accessing their inner resources and resilience, fostering a sense of empowerment and hope. My experience working with diverse mental health presentations has reinforced the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can process their difficulties and move toward greater balance and well-being.
ore Process Psychotherapy is well-suited to supporting clients experiencing relationship difficulties, including those stemming from neglect or abuse. This approach creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore relational patterns and heal from past wounds. Drawing on mindfulness and present-moment awareness, I help clients recognize how early experiences influence their current relationships, fostering greater self-awareness and compassion. My varied experience working with clients facing these challenges has deepened my understanding of how to hold space for complex emotions like shame, anger, and grief. Together, we work toward building healthier relational dynamics and restoring trust in themselves and others.
I approach trauma with sensitivity, mindfulness, and compassion, creating a safe space for clients to explore their experiences at their own pace. By integrating somatic awareness and mindfulness, we can gently address how trauma is held in the body and mind, supporting release and healing.
