I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and a clinical psychologist. I can offer psychotherapy to individuals with a wide range of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, problems in relationships, attachment issues, coping with life events, and coming to terms with traumatic life experiences. I have many years experience of working in the NHS and now work in private practice. I am also an experienced clinical supervisor.
Psychotherapy can help you understand yourself better and to change what may be unhelpful patterns in your life and in your relationships. It is a safe and confidential space, where it is possible to explore difficult feelings, come to terms with painful past experiences, and find more positive ways to move on with your life.
If you think psychotherapy could be helpful to you, you are welcome to contact me either by email or by phone. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. We would initially meet for an assessment appointment, so that I can find out more about the problems you want help with and you can get a sense of what therapy would involve. After that, if we agreed to go ahead, we would arrange to meet for regular therapy sessions. Sessions are usually once a week and last for 50 minutes.
