I am a Member of the Guild of Psychotherapists in London. I usually work with 50 minute sessions taking place once- or twice-weekly. I adhere to the UKCP’s Code of Ethics, which includes standards on confidentiality, supervision, complaints and continuing professional development (CPD).
At an initial session we will meet and discuss what you are looking for from therapy. It will also give you an idea of how I work and an opportunity for you to ask questions. If we decide to continue, we will agree how often to meet and a regular time will be arranged. Each session will last for 50 minutes.
My usual fee is £60 per session. A reduced rate can be offered under certain circumstances.
Are you seeking a space to unpack thoughts and feelings which feel hard to voice? Trying to find more capacity to understand and encounter yourself and others more deeply? Therapy offers a confidential space in which you can speak about your life’s journey, as well as what occupies your thoughts today. This can involve exploring the anxieties, relationships, dreams and experiences which are most significant for you. I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy: this will not give you tools or advice - instead it will help you find more understanding of the parts of yourself which may feel hidden, troubling and confusing.
I offer face-to-face work from rooms at 10 Southgate Street in central Winchester, and online using a secure, video-based platform - depending on how it feels most helpful to meet. I typically work with 50 minute sessions taking place once- or twice-weekly.
