I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, and have worked in private practice since 2007. I am based in Hythe, Kent, having relocated there from London in 2018. I work face-to-face from my private consulting room, and can also offer to work by Zoom if face-to-face is not practicable.
I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds, and have experience of a wide range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, difficulties with relationships, issues around sexuality and sexual identity, problems at work, redundancy, other important life-changes, lack or loss of direction and motivation, difficulties with understanding and expressing feelings, and lack of confidence.
If there is something troubling you, and you think that therapy might help, the first step is to arrange an initial consultation: this gives you the opportunity to tell me about yourself and what it is that has led you to seek therapy, and what you would like to achieve from it. I explain how we would work together, and if we are both happy to continue we can then agree a regular day and time to meet each week.
