I provide an Integrative approach to psychotherapy, where I work on a one-to-one basis, relationally with my clients, creating a safe, non-judgemental and supportive environment, from my office in Belsize Park NW3 (easily accessible from Jubilee/Northern/Metropolitan Lines) or via Zoom online. This creates the trust between us which is essential if we are to work effectively together, as challenges present themselves. As this maybe the first time you have ever spoken about difficult aspects of your life, I will always work with respect and at your pace.
People can often feel apprehensive about contacting a therapist because of the unknown. I offer a free initial session for us to get to know one another, to introduce you to how I work and to offer you a non-judgemental, safe opportunity to discuss things in your life that may be causing you distress.
I value my experience working within the LGBT community over a number of years, supporting HIV/AIDS organisations, youth homelessness, LGBTQ+ rights, sexual health and sexual abuse charities. My work has encompassed working with young people, as well as adults, in areas including; sexuality, HIV/AIDS, addiction (drugs, sex, alcohol, chemsex), sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationships and gender identity.
I work with men who have issues with pornography addiction and sexual complusivity. As well as men who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, or adult rape.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
