I work using a relational and integrative approach, informed by psychodynamic and person‑centred principles. I believe meaningful change happens within a safe therapeutic relationship, where difficult feelings can be explored with care and curiosity.
I pay close attention to your individual experiences, relationships and wider context, working in a way that is reflective, boundaried and ethically sound. Therapy is not about being “fixed”, but about gaining greater understanding, self‑compassion and choice.
I am an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist with over 15 years’ experience supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I offer a supportive, thoughtful space where we can work together, at your pace, to explore what is happening for you and what you may need.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to begin. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss or major life transitions. Whatever brings you, my aim is to offer a calm, compassionate relationship in which you feel heard, respected and understood.
I aim to offer a therapeutic space that feels both warm and containing. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, and I am mindful of the courage it takes to reach out. Together, we can think about what you need from therapy and whether I am the right therapist for you.
I also provide clinical supervision - a reflective, supportive supervision space for trainees, qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and professionals working in helping roles. My supervision style is collaborative and thoughtful, offering both support and appropriate challenge. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to think openly about your work, develop confidence in your practice and hold the complexities of clinical responsibility.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold a senior clinical leadership role and have extensive experience supporting counsellors and clinical supervisors within organisational settings. I am a registered member of the BACP and UCKP and work in line with their Ethical Frameworks. I engage in regular supervision and continuing professional development.
