I have over a decade of experience working with adults from different backgrounds in short and long-term NHS mental health services as well as private settings. I use various therapy approaches in my treatment including the following: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to work on past difficulties that have been triggered by present circumstances.
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) to work on relationship difficulties and the pattern of relationships. Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) to enable the individual to process traumatic events and to heal from emotional difficulties and distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.
I am aware that seeking help might not be easy. We all experience challenges and difficulties throughout our life and wish to be able to work through them and move forward. We will work together in an empathic, safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment to make sense of, and work through, the issues that brought you to therapy. I have over a decade of experience in working with all kinds of emotional difficulties including depression and anxiety. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life as well as groups.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
