After more then 35 years of practice in central London, I relocated to the peaceful surroundings of Beaminster in West Dorset in 2022. Now working from my home practice, I offer a supportive and confidential space for clients to explore what brings them to therapy.
Work is conducted online or in person depending on your preference.
At Spitzer Psychotherapy I draw on a wide range of approaches, adapting the work to suit each individual, whether you are seeking short-term focused help or longer-term open-ended therapy.
How do you know I am the right therapist for you? Only experience can tell and as a result I offer a free phone consultation followed by a non-chargeable first therapy session. We will discuss together if we are a good fit.
I offer in-depth support to those with eating disorders, and those experiencing self-harm, anxiety and depression.
Treatment of trauma is central, both adult and childhood, including adverse boarding school experiences.
I also work with those experiencing PTSD arising from the workplace or the armed forces.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
