About Me

I have a small independent psychotherapy practice and supervision practice and work in South Somerset and online. I previously worked in the NHS for 25 years in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health and as the Lead Professional for Family and Systemic Psychotherapy in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. I continue to work with individuals, couples and families, as well as groups and also offer consultation to organisational and professional groups.
I was the elected Chair of The Association for Family Therapy (AFT) for 4 years, and a member of the AFT Board for 16 years. I am currently a member of the Board for the International Family Therapy Association.
I am an experienced family and systemic psychotherapist and supervisor and work with people with a wide range of presenting difficulties and challenges. I take a collaborative approach to work with individuals, couples and people who are important to each other to recognise and build on strengths, understand relational patterns and enable new possibilities.
