My Approach

Life can be challenging and difficult at times.

Psychotherapy is a space you can gift yourself, a space to be held and to explore possibilities. I provide a safe, open, and gentle space for you to connect and explore.

Healing and growth come from connecting with people who see us and understand us. Crisis and issues in life often point us towards areas in our lives that are calling for some attention, though sometimes it is hard to see when we are in it. They often invite us to take a closer look at our lives and to find ways to live more fully and authentically. I will be there to walk beside you and support you along the way.

Our work will be uniquely tailored to your nature and the issues you bring. I work holistically, and I seek to explore how your immediate issues fit into the bigger picture of your life. I work creatively and collaboratively, as I believe therapy can be enjoyable.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and transpersonal, drawing knowledge from psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential schools, combining traditional and experiential techniques.

About Me

I trained as an integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist at Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London for eight years, and I attained my research masters at the school in association with the University of Northampton. I trained as a couples therapist at the NAOS Institute. I studied dreamwork with Dream Research Institute for a year.

I was a bereavement counsellor with City and East London Bereavement Service for two years. I was the Chinese counsellor with Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service for three years. I did a one-year placement in a YOI prison. I had my one-year clinical placement with Maudsley Hospital. For my master’s research, I did a heuristic inquiry on suicide bereavement.

My private practice follows the code of conduct of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy.

I speak fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
