Core Process Psychotherapy helps us examine the nature of who we are and how we relate with others.
Together in our joint enquiry, I will support you to develop embodied awareness, which over time allows for deepening compassion, spaciousness and clarity within yourself. We will take time to explore underlying beliefs, judgements and defences - which shape how you experience yourself and your relationships.
We work at your pace, exploring how it is to be you. As the therapeutic process unfolds, the inherent health that lives at the core of your being can be reclaimed and qualities of ease, joy and freedom become available to you.
Healing comes from accepting our wholeness and opening to the full breadth and depth of being human.
We can work together over a shorter time frame to address specific concerns or you may discover that some of the difficulties you experience are more deeply embedded and therefore benefit from working over a longer time frame. Creating a safe and supportive environment allows you to explore your life patterning at depth and rediscover your ‘core’ health, where you can re-engage with the wholeness within yourself and within all your relationships.
I am a Core Process Psychotherapist who believes inherent health resides at the core of every individual. I hold an MA in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy from the renowned Karuna Institute in partnership with Middlesex University. My training has consolidated an abiding curiosity into how we can fulfil our life’s potential. I have a rich background in the healing arts and have worked with children, teenagers and adults for over 25 years.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
