My approach is relational and integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic methods to tailor the experience to you. Nothing is off limits - whether you have a clear goal for therapy or simply feel a general sense of unease, I am here to support you in your journey toward healing and emotional well-being.
At the heart of my work is the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful tool for change. This relationship is key to fostering self-awareness, helping you process difficult emotions, and empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life.
Hi there, I’m Sarah, an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, committed to offering an empathetic, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever may be troubling you. I understand how daunting it can feel to take that first step toward counselling. Having been through extensive counselling myself, I empathise with the uncertainty that can come with beginning this process. Before becoming a counsellor, I was a Registered Nurse for 10 years; specialising in Gynaecology, Oncology and Early Pregnancy Assessment.
I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and emotions. Having said this, It may not feel possible to 'feel' or express, and that is okay too. It's your space, your protected time, to get to know yourself in an environment tailored to you.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
