Whether you are coming to therapy with a specific concern, or need a confidential space to explore whatever is on your mind, I am here to support you.
I integrate a number of theories and ways of working but tailor my approach to your individual needs. Therapy is not about providing advice, but it can be helpful to think about your early life and relationships, as well as past experiences, and to reflect on how they may have shaped your understanding of yourself, other people and the world in which you live.
Most importantly, I believe that everyone has the capacity to find their own answers and, in our work together, I aim to help you understand your choices, consider new perspectives, reach your own decisions and ultimately to empower you to make appropriate changes as you wish.
I work with adults (over 18) on an individual basis, both face-to-face and online via Zoom. I offer both short-term (minimum of 6 sessions) and long-term therapy, either open-ended or for a mutually agreed number of sessions.
I see therapy as a collaborative endeavour, in which I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to talk through your thoughts and feelings, explore your emotions and create a deeper understanding of yourself and the life you wish to lead.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
