I am an experienced Psychotherapist offering both short- and long-term therapy to individuals, couples and groups. In my work I am supportive and non-judgemental, combined with being appropriately challenging and creating an environment that is accepting and empowering.
Drawing on a set of complimentary methods in psychotherapy I aim to facilitate change and growth. My approach is relational, meaning I see what emerges in the relationship between client and therapist as an important aspect the therapeutic process and outcome.
I see my work as collaborative and respectful of the client’s pace and inner resources and I work towards forming a relationship based on mutual trust in a safe, boundaried and confidential environment.
I have many years of experience in the fields of mental health, personal development and therapy, working with a wide range of psychological and emotional issues.
Being multi-lingual and culturally aware, I welcome clients from any cultural background; My personal and clinical interest relates to issues of cultural identity, a sense of belonging and feelings of being ‘uprooted’.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
