Experienced Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist (MA, Dip.HIP) and full clinical member of UKCP in private practice in Bristol, BS6.
I work with people looking for support with good mental health and wellbeing, which can become affected in everyday life, for example by experiences of stress, loss, anxiety, trauma or difficult relationships.
My working approach is Humanistic and Integrative, which emphasises paying attention to mind, body and spirit and the relationship between client and psychotherapist. I offer a safe and non-judgemental environment in my practice, taking time to understand and provide support for the whole person. The whole person includes parts of the self that are perhaps experienced as challenging or unwanted, or which might have stayed undiscovered because they haven't been able to develop.
I use different theories and applications in my practice because of its integrative approach, and since 2011 my experience as a therapist has included working in private practice, counselling organisations and NHS mental health services.
