UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
My initial trainings in Psychodynamic counselling were at Leicester University and at Nottingham Counselling Service in the mid 1980s. I soon followed these up by training in psychotherapy at the Sherwood Institute in Nottingham from 1987 to 1992. My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is from a Relational-Integrative model.
In 2000 I also trained and registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and as such have a particular interest in working people and families affected by communication difficulties, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).
I am a qualified and registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in Nottingham. My registrations are with The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI). I abide by the Codes of Ethics of both of these professional bodies.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
