I work with individuals, couples and families, including sibling groups, in person and online. The focus of my work is the connection between self and others and our experience of wellbeing as individuals and in our most important relationships. Whether I meet with individuals, a couple or a family, my conversations with clients tend to have a relational focus.
If you would like to discuss beginning therapy with me, as an individual, couple or family, I will ask to meet online for 20-30 minutes, in order for us to get a sense of each other and what we might be talking about should you want to meet in person. If we agreed to meet together, I would normally ask that you commit to three meetings initially, before deciding if you want to continue. At that point we would agree a number of meetings, and review things as we go along.

I am a systemic psychotherapist and supervisor working with individuals, couples, families. I completed my clinical training at two internationally recognised NHS services, the Marlborough Family Service and the Tavistock Clinic, both in London. I have held leadership and teaching positions at the Institute of Family Therapy and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience; both in London. I have 20+ years of experience working in specialist and highly specialist mental health services, in the NHS and in the voluntary sector. I have been fortunate to have had opportunities to practice in a range of settings and as a consequence I have a broad experience of supporting children, adults, couples and families experiencing acute and more enduring distress in their everyday lives. I currently work part of the week in a busy adults service in the NHS and part of the week in private practice. My private practice includes psychotherapy, clinical supervision to psychotherapists working in a range of settings, teaching and training.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
