My Approach

I work from the Humanistic and Existential schools of thought, and as such I am a very warm therapist & collaborative therapist, but I am informed by psychodynamic, gestalt, cbt therapies and use neuroscience and neurobiology as well as mindfulness concepts.

About Me

I am a highly experienced UKCP accredited, Integrative psychotherapist, counsellor and life coach who works in the Dalston end of Stoke Newington. I have been working with, and helping a range of clients with many different issues for over 14years.
My integration is fundamentally formed from the Humanistic and Existential schools of thought, but I am also informed by, and use some Psychodynamic, Gestalt, CBT, CBTi, Neuroscience& Neurobiology and Mindfulness based ideas. The nature of this integration allows me to go way beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and to work with a person as an individual with their own bespoke needs and requirements.

I work with

  • Companies
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have worked with lots of clients who have suffered trauma as a result of abuse.
I have had a lot of success working with clients wanting to explore and address alcohol and drug addictions. But I do work with any addictions.
I work with every anxiety from specific anxieties, to social and generalised and everything in between
I have had lots of experience working with clients suffering from serious longterm depression but also contextual depression that has arisen because of a specific cause or event.
Most if not all of my clients have suffered some sort of trauma, sometimes they come to therapy aware of this fact, and sometimes we uncover this together during the work.
