There are many reasons why someone feels they need or want to come to therapy. Challenging personal or professional circumstances, a realisation that habits and lifestyle are not helpful or healthy, an unhappy or difficult past. Sometimes it can be that little nagging voice inside seeking change or support.
My aim is to offer a safe space for you to explore past and present life events and create your own narrative of what they mean to you and help emotional wellbeing.
I am a UKCP registered and accredited Psychotherapist, I am fully qualified with a Diploma and Masters in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. I am in regular supervision to support my work and I have had my own private practice since 2015.
In the past I have been a volunteer therapist at The Swan Project in Bristol working with clients with addiction, and The Rosa Burden Centre for Neuropsychiatry at Southmead Hospital, working with patients in need of support with their mental health associated with neurological diseases.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
