Many people have discovered that it is helpful to work with a mental health professional to resolve personal or social issues causing them stress. When going through emotionally difficult times it can be useful to talk things through with a professional person outside the family to seek a solution.
My learning as a therapist commenced at Leicester University, where I trained in Psychodynamic counselling. I continued to develop my professional skills whilst studying for three years to gain my diploma, which led to a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling at Matrix College, validated by Middlesex University. I offer an environment where clients can feel safe to explore their anxieties and behaviours at a pace which is right for them. I have worked with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including relationship problems, self-harm, depression, sexual abuse and bereavement.
