I am a Relationship Counsellor, with a Masters in Psychotherapy at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London and a Graduate Diploma in Couples Counselling at the Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education in London. My work draws on Psychodynamic, Humanist and Transpersonal traditions as well as the more recent findings in the field of neuroscience, trauma and bodywork.
At a first meeting we can talk about how I can help you - you may feel stuck as a couple and you don't know how to resolve your difficulties. You may be dealing with issues arising from some of the following: regular arguments or fighting, physical or verbal abuse, lack of intimacy, an affair, betrayal, addiction, money problems, illness, sexual problems, religious differences, anxiety or depression, or issues with parents or children. I will help both of you to share difficult and often painful feelings in a safe and respectful way. I will help you to develop communication skills and self-awareness so that you can find better ways to relate to each other and develop greater empathy and mutual understanding. From this, love can grow and a mature relationship blossom.
Your first session is half price. My fee is £65, with concessions between £45-£55 depending on income. I also see a small number of couples for a low-cost fee of £25. Fees are discussed at the first meeting. My house is 3 minutes walk from the bus stop, and there is parking outside the house. I can give you an idea how many sessions I think you might need when we meet. Couples come once a week, or once a fortnight. I can be flexible with times. I see people from 8.30 am to 8.30pm. You can contact me by email or telephone to discuss making a first appointment, and I can answer any questions you might have about coming for Relationship Counselling.
