I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, and I offer both long-term and short-term therapy to adults. I provide a space that is safe, calm and confidential, so that you may share whatever is going on for you, without judgement.
I consider you to be the expert on your life, and my role as a therapist is to sit alongside you, while we make sense together, as an act of collaboration and co-creation. I work slowly and mindfully, and encourage creative processes and use techniques such as breathing, self-compassion exercises and mindfulness. I believe that whilst relationships can be a source of wounding, they are ultimately where we can also mend and heal. The process of healing looks and feels very different for each of us, but I feel that therapy, at the right time in our lives, can provide a sacred space which is conducive to such healing, propelling us into new ways of being.
I have experience working with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, gender and sexuality issues, family conflict, self-harming, trauma, eating disorders and relationship issues. I also speak Italian, and can work with individuals who wish to use both English and Italian in the sessions.
If you are interested in meeting, we would organise an exploratory consultation where we establish if we are a good fit. We would then agree on a day and time for us to meet weekly for a 50-minute session. When you enquire, please let me know if you are looking for therapy in London, Brighton or online.
I have an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, as well as a Clinical Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative and Psychodynamic Counselling. I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP) and follow their ethical framework. I also attend regular clinical supervision and CPD to support my work.
