Psychosynthesis psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems
My name is Pete Connor and I have over 30 years experience as a psychotherapist, counsellor and supervisor. I am based in Keynsham, near to Bristol, and see adult individual clients and supervisees.
My diverse trainings and experience mean that I can help with most of life's issues and problems, including:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and feeling low
Confidence and self-esteem
Relationship issues
Loss and bereavement
Trauma and abuse
Addictions
Feeling stuck in old patterns of thinking, feeling and/or behaviour
Employment and career issues, redundancy and retirement
Life stage and transitions
I also have specialist training and experience in working with:
Sex, sexuality, LGBTQ and gender issues
Working with men
Physical illness, including cancer, HIV, MS and ME, pain and disability
Meaning and purpose in life
Spirituality and transpersonal issues
I work from a designated therapy room on the first floor of my home just outside of Keynsham. It is 10 minutes walk from bus stops, buses running every 15 minutes from the centre of Bristol and journeys taking approximately 20/25 minutes. I am also 20 minutes walk from Keynsham train station. Those coming by car can park on the driveway at the front of the house.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
