About me
My professional approach is informed by the understanding that the human psyche is a self-regulating mind/body system which has its own inherent movement toward health. When you and I enter into this process the opportunity for creating positive change and development may occur.
Valuing your symbolic life helps me understand your unconscious communications. Through your dreams, fantasies and creative expression we can explore together the realms of your internal world. Psychotherapy is a relational process, allowing us to work together to create a trusting relationship where we can begin to explore any difficulties you are encountering in your life.
My work is strongly influenced by Jung him self, who was an explorer of the realm of unconscious language, creatively communicated through the symbolic imagery of dreams and fantasy.
An initial session is suggested in order to discuss your individual needs.
Sessions are for 60 minutes.

BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING
The death of a loved one is likely to affect all of us at some time in our lives. Coping with grief can be extremely distressing and everyone reacts differently to loss.
You may be troubled by a recent loss or one that occurred sometime ago; you may have family and friends around you or trying to cope on your own.
Grief is the emotional response to the death of a loved one and can create feelings of loneliness, isolation, guilt, despair, anger, fear and many more complex thoughts and associated feelings. You may experience physical aches and pains or perhaps even a sense of relief. This is a normal response to loss and such feelings can be overwhelming. Some people can even become concerned for their own well-being.
Bereavement Counselling allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
WHAT I CAN OFFER
• A confidential space in which you can explore any thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour that are troubling you.
• A respectful working relationship with a trained bereavement counsellor.
• Support as you deal with difficult feelings.
• Time for you to develop a greater understanding about your feelings and emotions.
• The possibility of joining a group for longer term support after your counselling has finished.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email.
