As a Systemic Psychotherapist/Family Therapist my approach is to think together with a family (or indeed a couple or an individual) about their complex networks of relationships and what they might like to look different within that. Every 'family' is different and I am experienced in working with individuals, couples and different constellations of families or groups.
As a qualified, UKCP-registered Systemic Psychotherapist/Family Therapist I have experience of working with young people and their families from within the NHS (i.e. CAMHS) and also through various charities. I was originally a neuroscientist, but decided to retrain as a Family Therapist in order to take a more active position in supporting young people and their families with their struggles, whatever these may be. Together with my colleague, we have recently founded the 'Bristol Family Therapy Collective CIC' - a not-for-profit community interest company delivering quality family therapy at reduced rate and pro bono wherever we can. www.bristolfamilytherapycollective.org
