My Approach

You feeling understood is important to me; as is a non-judgemental approach. I qualified as a Psychotherapist & Family Therapist at King's College London. When coming to therapy you will be able to bring everyone in your household, part of the group or come for 1-1 therapy. We will be fine-tuning the approach to fit your therapy-goal and situation. A speciality of systemic therapy is to see the problem outside of the person working with blame and feeling stuck. Together we can decide if you, your family/your partner/ex-partner want to come weekly, fortnightly or monthly. In systemic therapy we sometimes meet less frequent/not weekly, believing client/s have resources they use between sessions.

About Me

As a therapist, I treat a range of emotional, mental health and behavioural problems; sometimes expressed as "feeling stuck". I can offer you enthusiasm, tenacity and humour when working together with your goals. With over 30 years experience, my therapeutic approach is evidence-based integrating lived-experience. The Portsmouth room I work in is spacious; equipped for all ages. Southsea locations also available on request.
