I am an experienced and qualified therapist and have been in full-time private practice in Manchester since 2002. I am registered with both the UKCP and BACP, and am trained to offer Integrative Psychotherapy / Counselling, CBT, EMDR, AF-EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapy, DBR, Life Coaching, NLP, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Ecotherapy (Outdoor Nature-based therapy).
I use a flexible integrative approach and offer both longer-term psychotherapy and counselling, as well as shorter-term therapies such as brief psychotherapy, CBT, EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP and life coaching.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, Complex-PTSD, OCD, bereavement, abuse, addictions, anger management, trauma, BPD, public speaking, addictions, depression, stress management, family issues, separation, divorce, generalised anxiety, low self-confidence and low self-esteem, insomnia and sleep disorders, relationships issues, eating disorders, fears and phobias, shame, IBS, pain management, and personal development.
I am a UKCP approved supervisor and am available for either face-to-face or Zoom/Skype supervision sessions.
All treatment is carried out in a respectful, constructive, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
