My Approach

My approach is integrative which means that I weave together trainings in core process psychotherapy, psychosynthesis, internal family systems and breathwork.
Much of the work is listening and reflecting, learning and exploring. I offer support and sensitive challenge along with any way in which is beneficial for the client, which may include role plays, imaginal exercises, working with the breath and body as well as with art, music and their unique creativity and experience.

About Me

I am an experienced core process psychotherapist and supervisor working in Bethnal Green, London.
I offer a safe, confidential setting for adults at a small psychotherapy centre that I founded and run.
I have a particular interest in working with our paths in life, themes of stuckness, what holds us back, and what brings freedom and how that might be. I have experience working with psychosis, feelings of deep anxiety, depression and lack of connection.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have particular interest in addiction and the relationship to survival and how to work with it.
I have undergone trainings working with anxiety in particular, and see it as something to carefully, safely embrace and build a relationship to, often as a doorway to healing.
I see depression as a state to be attended to deeply and with patience. The absence of feeling and connection, rather than having feelings that are perhaps unwanted.
I have undergone family constellation therapy as a case holder and a witness and have a fascination in family systems and how they can affect us.
I have direct experience of working with childhood sexual abuse and working with its affect into adulthood, as well as the legal ramifications of seeking compensation.
