About Me

Hello, I am a psychotherapist and counsellor who offers integrative psychotherapy in North and West London, East Sussex as well as online and by telephone. Within my practice I offer a supportive, non judgmental space where we will be able to look together at your life, and help to make sense of the questions or issues which might have led you to counselling or therapy.

In working together, I would hope that we can find meaning hidden within the problems you face and use this meaning to facilitate positive change in your life.

I make use of creative work, visualisations, dream interpretation and the therapeutic relationship in my work with clients when appropriate and in line with your needs.

I am a staff member and academic supervisor at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in Little Venice, London. In terms of my institutional accreditation; I am a registered member of the UKCP and a member of the BACP and abide by their ethical codes. In terms of my qualifications, I have a post graduate diploma in transpersonal integrative psychotherapy and counselling, a first class degree in psychology, a research MA in transpersonal psychotherapy and I am a final year doctoral student studying applied psychology. I am interested in studying the relationship between ideology and psychotherapy, and often comment on the intersection between politics and therapy - although please note I respect my client's personal autonomy when it comes to their own political orientation.

I have a wide range of experience having worked within a number of different counselling services.

Send me an email to arrange an initial session, where we can begin the therapeutic process.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I am very experienced at working with addiction, having spent a period of 6 years working with clients at the addiction support and care agency in Surbiton. I have worked with people successfully in treating alcoholism, cannabis addiction, pornography addiction and heroin addiction.
I am very interested in working with people around the issue of identity, much of my academic and doctoral research is around this area and I seek to help people to deal with questions around this topic.
I have had many years of successfully helping people through online psychotherapy treatments. I was working with people years before the onset of the COVID pandemic and currently the majority of my practice is via this medium. I am very experienced in working with people online.
I am a long time practitioner of meditation, having had experience in Buddhist traditions such as Vipassana and Soto Zen. I also have had a long and extensive background working within shamanic traditions. My orientation - transpersonal psychotherapy - sees the resolution of spiritual issues as being a fundamental factor to achieving a genuine sense of health and wellbeing, although please note that this does not mean that I will promote my own belief systems or ideology upon you in any way. I always respect the autonomy and individuality of any client that I work with.
