My Approach

I am an integrative and humanistic psychotherapeutic counsellor. I have over 18 years experience working with children, young people and families and I have supported with a lot of different issues and circumstances over that time. I am very familiar with safeguarding policy and practice. I work within UKCP Code of Ethics and I am committed to my personal development in this field of work. I am a very empathetic person and I would like to really hear your story and work collaboratively to assess your needs and how I'm best able to support you. I enjoy using a wide variety of tools and techniques in therapy based on your own interests and needs

About Me

Hello My name is Nichola and I'm a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working in and around Teesside. I want to say thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about me and I do hope I am able to help. I have over 8 years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist. I am very approachable and take pride in my work. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, therapeutic and confidential space for the child young person and family. I am able to attune myself to the client I am working with in order to understand their needs. I do look forward to speaking with you soon.
