About Me

Hello, I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, based in Stamford, Lincs. Specialist interest & Training in Trauma - I work with adults whose past/present experiences may trigger feelings or fear of being overwhelmed, distracted or relying on habits we know are not good for us. Whatever is difficult, painful and/or confusing or distressing, I will listen to you, and always start from however you feel you are now. Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

When a habit threatens to disrupt our life and we need help to understand minimise or free ourselves from it entirely.
Anxiety may be felt as a rare or occasionally crippling panic attack or be a routine background feature of our life.
How we feel about our life day to day now and in the future.
How we feel towards ourselves is often decided by how we fell towards the important relationships in our personal and/or work lives.
Powerful life experiences can severely impact how we think or respond towards ourselves and others.

Cost:

Fee: Negotiated with the client - my typical fee currently is £50.00/Clinical Hour

Concessions: My caseload allows for a number of weekly clients who are unable to pay the full fee due to their circumstances - so I will consider referrals via Public Sector Employee Assistance Programmes and charities including foodbanks.
