As an Integrative Psychotherapist with a Transpersonal focus, I am trained to approach therapeutic issues from multiple perspectives, including existential, psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal modalities. This diverse training allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I am skilled in addressing both cognitive and emotional challenges, providing a compassionate, empathetic, and approachable environment in which clients feel supported and understood.
With a decade of experience in the UK and a background rooted in India, Nav has built a diverse career that seamlessly combines psychotherapy, addiction recovery, and sustainability. Before transitioning into full-time psychotherapy, Nav managed family-owned restaurants in India while also playing an instrumental role in the establishment and operation of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, where they served in various capacities, ultimately becoming the Recovery Programme Director.
In 2014, Nav moved to the UK and pursued advanced training in psychotherapy, completing a Level 7 Diploma, and further deepening their expertise with a Master's in Addictions from King's College, London. Specializing in supporting healthcare professionals, Nav works with NHS Practitioner Health, providing vital mental health services to those in the healthcare field.
Outside of therapy, Nav is committed to sustainability and community involvement, running a zero-waste, plastic-free store in their local village. This unique combination of therapeutic expertise, a passion for recovery, and a dedication to environmental stewardship defines Nav's approach to both professional and personal life.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
