About Me

I am an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist and have worked with children, young people, families and school staff for over ten years. I provide a warm, confidential and safe environment for my clients and support them in making sustainable changes towards a fulfilling and happy life.

Having trained at the IATE (Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education), I am a firm believer in the powerful role that the arts and our imaginations can play in healing and helping to create happy and meaningful lives. Whether I'm working with an 8 year old, teenager or adult, a typical session might include any of the following: conversation, painting, drawing, clay-work, sand-tray therapy, play, using imagery, movement and paying close attention to signals from the nervous system. We always go at the client's pace and work in the way that feels comfortable and most helpful to them.

I work one-to-one with children and adolescents aged 4-17, preferably face-to-face but am open to working on zoom. I also enjoy working with parents and families to support positive changes at home and provide strategies to manage the parts of parenting that feel stressful or tricky. I love sharing ideas to enhance the fun and closeness that family life can provide.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, low self-confidence and self-esteem, behavioural issues at home and at school, bullying, divorce, grief, attachment issues, parenting issues, children in care, experiences of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, neglect and trauma.

I have been DBS checked and engage in regular supervision to support my practice. I work in line with the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice (2019). My private practice is based in Ealing Common, west London. Alongside private practice, I work in several secondary schools and as a visiting lecturer at Roehampton University.
