Core Process Psychotherapy is a unique style of psychotherapy, held within a Buddhist framework. It is a psycho spiritual psychotherapy that integrates Buddhist psychotherapy practice with other main stream psycho-therapeutic approaches. This gives C.P.P a unique advantage from other approaches as it offers a multi disciplined dimension. The term Core Process or C.P.P reflects the intention to deepen into the core of being, the source of our inherent health and well-being.
This return to the source is manifested through the practice of awareness, compassion and loving kindness.
These tools come from a Buddhist framework that supports the therapist whilst enabling the client to explore their process at their own pace, within a safe and gentle environment. The client does not need to be Buddhist to benefit from C.P.P or have any strong spiritual belief. All that is required is the intention to inquire and engage in their own unfolding process.
