I describe my style as a blend of warmth and compassionate challenge. I am an interactive therapist; I don't just sit and listen—I engage with you.
I am human; and it is my absolute aim to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic self.
My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and focused on your strengths. I work with people from all walks of life, including:
Adults & Parents: Navigating the complexities of depression, anxiety, relationship changes, or the specific challenges of parenthood and family life.
Students & Young People: Supporting those in school, college, or university dealing with transition, low mood, bereavement, or self-harm.
Creative & Performing Arts: As a listed therapist for BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), I support performers and those in creative industries managing burnout and performance anxiety.
Inclusivity & Specialisms: I provide a safe space for those in the adult performance industry and sex workers. I am a proud provider for Pineapple Support and am listed on the National Ugly Mugs (NUM) directory.
Deciding to start therapy is a significant step, and it is important to find a space where you feel both understood and professionally supported.
With over 30 years in the caring profession, I have dedicated my career to helping people navigate complex life challenges. As a UKCP registered adult and child psychotherapist, I am uniquely trained to work with adults and young people and children.
Over the decades, I have worked in NHS and private psychiatric units, schools, and drug and alcohol support services. I’ve held a private practice for over 15 years, working from clinics in Brighton and Hove and Harley Street in London.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
