I take a holistic approach in my practice, which considers body soul and spirit. Each of us has a healing centre within us which can be activated in developing our wellbeing and potential for transforming the challenges of life. By working creatively with our biography we can overcome stuck patterns, embrace our lost and vulnerable sides and develop a more robust centre through which to embrace life.
I am experienced clinician, and and have been working therapeutically for over 15 years as well as having over 30 years experience in running groups. I have many years experience of working as a workshop leader, theatre director and developing embodied learning through masks and action methods. This then developed into working with individuals using psychodrama psychotherapy. I have also spent many years supervising other clinicians and completed my supervision training with Robin Shohet.
I have worked in leadership for many years in forensics supporting the therapeutic development of high risk offenders, and have experience in working with PTSD, personality disorders and complex needs.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
