My Approach

I believe in a whole-person approach to psychotherapy that values the body, feelings, mind and spirit. I work in the present moment, exploring your experiences as they emerge in the space between us. I’m particularly interested in the spiritual dimension of life and its place in psychotherapy, which underpins the whole-person approach. About Me

Hello - I'm Michael Blades, an Integrative, Relational Psychotherapist and full member of the UCKP. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2017. After undertaking further academic research, this enabled me to develop the unique Transpersonal perspective that I bring to my practice. I've worked within the NHS, charitable and educational sectors. I currently work with various private clients from all walks of life, and part of my service is supporting trainee psychotherapists and counsellors. I often see motivated and courageous clients; they realise they are not just the stories they have come to believe about themselves - and, in time, reconnect with a more profound sense of who they are and have meaning in their lives.
