I use a systemic approach in my work with children, families and adults. I also supervise individuals, teams and consult with organisations that wish to develop systemic ways of working.
As a social enterprise organisation, Mustard Seed, reinvest profit to provide free and reduced cost services. We also partner with statutory and voluntary organisations to provide mental health services through tenders and grant funding.
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse, Social Worker and Systemic Psychotherapist / Supervisor with over 34 years of experience of working with children and families in various settings. I am the founding Company Director of a Social Enterprise, Mustard Seed Asociates CIC, that offers a range of community focused health and social care projects. These include independent social work assessments and court reports, independent therapeutic provision, mentoring, training and group work to registered organisations. I have held positions in senior management within the local authority and voluntary organizations and have practiced independently alongside this for several years. I am a specialist CAMHS practitioner and independent Doctoral researcher with articles in publication.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
