About Me

I work with individuals, couples or families who are experiencing stress, frustration, sadness, or just don't know what to do next. I have Masters degrees in Professional Counselling and Systemic Psychotherapy, so will tailor a flexible approach that works for you and your circumstances. Being a therapist does not give me the answers, but it does allow me to ask the questions to help you find solutions to your difficult situation. I have specialist training in Addiction, Clinical Mental Health and Bereavement, which may include the anticipated bereavement that comes with living with a long-term or terminal illness. I offer a free initial 30 minute no obligation phone consultation to see if I can help you.

I work with

  • Children and young people
  • Couples
  • Families
  • Groups

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Addictive Behaviour and was the Young People's Substance Misuse Trainer for Suffolk for 12 years. I have experience working with both addicts and those affected by a family member's addiction.
I have worked with families who have one or more member with autism and/or a neurodevelopmental disability, both in an in-patient setting and in the community. I have experience working with the way these conditions affect relationships within the family.
