My Approach

As a Gestalt Therapist, I believe in a holistic approach to working with clients and so if someone comes to see me to work on their anxiety, I will be interested in how their relationships and current living conditions may be impacting their anxiety at that moment.

I follow an embodied approach, inviting you to tune into the body, as I believe that we carry information, that is sometimes unexpressed, in our bodies and we are rarely encouraged or invited to take the time to tune into our sense of self. My experience is that when we do, we can get important insights that may not have been accessible to us before.

About Me

My background is originally in Linguistics and Translation, which is a passion I have transferred into my practice by offering therapy in English, Spanish and Italian. I strongly believe in the power of words and how they connect us to parts of us and of our experience, and that sometimes, there are no words to express such experiences.
I hold a Master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy from The Gestalt Centre and London Metropolitan University and I am a registered member of UKCP, BACP and UKAGP.

I work with

  • Companies
  • Groups
  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have extensive experience and a personal interest in neurodiversity beyond ADHD, including ADD, dislexya, dyspraxia and how this correlates with the way you are in the world and how you relate to others and viceversa.
I work with intimate partners mostly in a brief therapy setting of 6, 9 or 12 sessions.
As a multilingual person, I value the power that language and culture provides us with when we can express ourselves in ways that a second or third language might not enable us to do. I provide therapy in English, Spanish and Italian. I believe that culture is an inherent part of who we are and it is linked to our identity and our sense of self in the world. Being from a different culture to the one I live in, I have first hand experience of the issues and questions that can arise from this.
My training in Gestalt therapy has equipped me with the skills to support people in their search for meaning, healing journey or whatever it is that has brought you to therapy. My approach is driven by curiosity and looking at everything from that angle as opposed to judging things and fitting them in a box.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for self-healing and personal growth. In my training and through my private practice I have come to realise that relationships have the potential to heal relationships. As we grow as human beings, we develop our sense of self through relationships and as such the relationships we have or lack, impact us deeply in how we are and relate to others. Similarly, I observe the characteristics of the relationship between the clients I work with and myself. Thus, opening an opportunity for exploration of the feelings present in the room, whether related to the topic brough to therapy or anything emergent.
