About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and shamanic practitioner and I provide both short and long term work for individuals and couples. I provide a safe and confidential environment to help clients make meaning for themselves in order to progress and develop in life, exploring relationships, behaviours, thoughts and feelings that may be getting in the way of happiness.

I am trained in Transactional Analysis and hold an MSc in psychotherapy. I adhere to the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and BACP Code of Ethics.

My modality is relational, psychodynamic therapy using the frame of TA, although I do integrate other approaches where appropriate, including CBT and mindfulness.

In addition to counselling and psychotherapy, I have worked in a number of senior management positions over the last ten years and currently work as Director of Strategic Wellbeing. This has provided me with significant experience when dealing with work related issues. I also currently provide coaching and mentoring to organisations and individuals at all levels covering mental health awareness, ways to wellbeing, stress and resilience, change management, conflict management and confidence building. I have also studied with the institute of Leadership and Management.

​I also have experience with techniques and methods that involve emotional recall and sense memory, including the Meisner Technique and work with actors who train in this area.

I have worked extensively with Trauma, having trained and coached the Met Police, the armed forces and survivors of the Grenfel tragedy.
