I endeavour work collaboratively with the client to explore how family relationships, cultural narratives, social positions, and wider systems such as work, community, and society influence their experiences, beliefs, and coping strategies. This is with the aim of helping the client understand their difficulties in creating change that is both personally meaningful and contextually responsive.
As a male therapist I am committed to working with individuals, couples and families in respect to difference in gender, race, religion, age, abilities, culture, class, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
