I currently work part time in an NHS adult mental health service team that offers a wide variety of talking based psychotherapeutic interventions in outpatient community settings in Buckinghamshire.
I have been working as a Systemic Psychotherapist with adult couples and families for three years in my current role. I still find it a privilege to work with so many wonderful people who are often struggling to make the best out of difficult and upsetting circumstances. The challenge is to facilitate conversations that are that just that little bit different enough to make a difference.
Previously I worked in London as a mental health nurse and latterly a Systemic Psychotherapist in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) for over fifteen years. I have over 25 years experience working in NHS mental health services.
I enjoy a mixed portfolio of work and continue to work once a fortnight in one of the few GP practice based family therapy clinics in the UK.
I have recently started accepting referrals for private clients (couples and families).
