My Approach

Anxiety, feeling low or experiencing loss are part of everyday life. However, if you feel your emotional life is out of balance and struggle to bounce back from or feeling stuck in old patterns that holds you back, it's a good time to reach out for support. Psychotherapy helps you to resolve relationship difficulties, recover from depression, addiction and trauma. It also helps to re-evaluate and make new sense of your life and relationships not just with others but with yourself too. The process offers opportunities to change your internal life to feeling more comfortable, secure and confident and this translate to being able to form more fulfilling relationships and live a fuller life.
My work with couples and pairs seeking to resolve relationship difficulties aims to improve communication and loving connections to each other through identifying negative patterns within the relationship and exploring the roots of problems underlining their difficulties and healing from past traumas.
From the beginning we focus on establishing trust and a strong sense of safety that enables the explorations of your problems through a deeper understanding of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. My approach is based on increasing self-awareness and developing skills to manage difficult feelings and heal from old wounds.
It can be hard to seek support but it might be still easier than just carry on. The most exciting part of my work is seeing my clients developing a better relationship with themselves, recognising their capabilities to live an easier and freer life as they are able to integrate their feelings and actions, which they didn’t think was possible before.

About Me

I work with warmth and compassion to create a safe and stable environment in which you can work through your difficulties. I offer support to heal from trauma, depression, addiction and other difficulties that are often just too hard to mange on our own. I appreciate the possible impact of bereavement, relationship difficulties and diversity that impacts on our quality of life and I offer a safe space to explore them with honesty and compassion.
My integrated model is centred around understanding relational and historical aspects of our lives and focuses on addressing present issues. My practice builds on attachment theory, neuroscience and body psychotherapy.

I also work as supervisor at Cruse Bereavement charity.
