My approach is flexible and tailored to the needs of those who come to see me, rather than applying a set formula. This entails a shared commitment helping people to achieve psychological development, so that when the work comes to an end, they continue to benefit from the experience.

I have devoted several decades working in different organisational and mental health settings including my private practice.
I am an individual psychotherapist and Training Group Analyst (IGA) and work with people from a diverse range of cultural, public and private sectors. I am a BAPPS, IGA and UKCP accredited supervisor and I offer mentoring.
I have an interest in all aspects of creativity, in communities and cultural diversity. I work in English and German.
My main approach is psychoanalytic, based on several trainings and work experiences. Initially I trained as an integrative therapist, then followed by studies in psychoanalytic and relational theories. I obtained an MA in psychoanalytic studies at the Tavistock Centre. My other theoretical reference points are based on attachment theory, Jungian, group analytic and systems theories.
I hope to help people move towards a deeper understanding of themselves and others, and to explore ways of resolving their individual, social or work-related concerns which often occur in context of their social environments.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
